TerraKota Farm — Fresh Figs & Fig Saplings


1. What makes TerraKota figs special?

Our figs are hand-picked daily from our 2 greenhouses in our farm in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam. We focus on premium varieties such as Super Jumbo, Deanna and other berry/honey-profile figs. All fruits are grown pesticide-free using natural fermented ginger sprays to deter pests. We follow good agricultural practices to ensure strict quality control from planting to harvest


2. How do I place an order?

You can place an order directly through our website. Select your preferred box type, choose your delivery date, and proceed to checkout.


3. Do you deliver outside Klang Valley?

Not at the moment. Due to the delicate nature of figs, we currently deliver within Klang Valley only.

4. What time will my order be delivered?

Deliveries are made within your selected delivery window. Actual timing may vary based on harvest volume, traffic, and weather conditions. Our delivery partner will contact you upon initiation of delivery and at arrival.


5. Can I choose my delivery date?

Yes, you may choose any available delivery date shown at checkout. Delivery slots may close early if we reach harvest capacity.


6. Do the figs all look the same?

No. Figs naturally vary in colour, size, weight, and ripeness. Each fruit is unique.
This is normal for premium fresh produce and not considered a defect. However, we primarily carry red and yellowgreen fig trees, and a small number of black fig trees.


7. How should I store my figs?

Figs should be refrigerated as soon as possible.
For best quality:

  • Best consumed within 48 hours of receiving your order

  • Store unwashed, in the container provided

  • Wash thoroughly only before eating

  • Fresh figs can keep well in the fridge up to 5 days.


8. My figs arrived soft. Is that normal?

Yes. Figs are naturally soft, especially when ripe.
Slight softness, stickiness, or minor bruising may occur during transport.
If you believe the fruit is spoiled, please contact us within the reporting window.


9. What should I do if my figs arrive damaged?

Please contact us within the same day with clear photos or videos.
We will review and provide a replacement or partial refund if applicable.


10. Can I change or cancel my order?

Because figs are highly perishable, we cannot accept any changes or cancellations for orders scheduled for delivery within 48 hours of the time the order was placed.
If your delivery date is more than 48 hours away, you may contact us to request a change or cancellation.


11. How are shipping fees calculated?

Delivery fees follow our Klang Valley zone structure, based on postcode distance from our farm.

12. What varieties do you grow?

We grow a curated selection of premium figs including:

  • For Flagship Box: Super Jumbo (Red) and Deanna (Yellow)

  • For Cnnoisseur Box: Black Maxwell, Black Mission, Yellow Lebanese, Galicia Negra and many more. Varieties available in your box depend on harvest conditions.


13. Can I visit the farm?

The farm is currently undergoing upgrades.
We expect to open for visits in late January 2026 (subject to change).


14. Do you sell fig plants or saplings?

Yes, we offer a range of fig plant saplings.
Availability varies depending on propagation cycles. Please check our website or WhatsApp us for the latest stock.


15. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit/debit card, bank transfer. TnG e-wallet will be available soon.
Payment must be completed before we process your order.


16. Can I request specific varieties in my box?

You may leave a note, but fulfilment depends on harvest availability.
We cannot guarantee specific varieties unless listed for sale.


17. Is TerraKota Farm halal?

Our produce is fresh fruit with no animal-derived ingredients.
We operate a pork-free environment. However, we are not formally certified halal.


18. How big is each fruit?

  • Flagship Box: approx. 40–60g fruits

  • XL Flagship Box: 60g and above

  • Connoisseur Box: exclusive or limited-variety figs (sizes vary but typically ~40g)

Weights are estimated based on the average fruit size at harvest.


19. How often do you restock?

We harvest daily.
Boxes are updated based on fig ripeness and quantity available each morning.
